Petra is a real character, one who's full of herself and is Miss Personality Plus!! At her very first outing in August 2002 aged 6 months she won her Asian Champion title by coming third in Hound Group!! She also won Puppy in Group, Malaysian Bred in Group and then went on to win BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!!!! Petra is our 5th Asian Champion but the first homebred one so an extra special win.  Petra completed her Malaysian title in 3 straight shows and was titled in November 2002 aged 9 months and also won another Puppy In Show!! Shown three times in Malaysia she won 2 Best Puppy in Show and 3 Best Puppy in Group!! 

Petra was exported to Australia to  Mark & Justine Yardley in March 2003. One week out of quarantine at her very first Australian show, Petra gave HACIENDA one of our proudest moments by winning BEST OF BREED AT SYDNEY ROYAL 2003!!!!!!! To our knowledge she is the first ever Malaysian bred dog to win this accolade!!! Three days later at the 7th Dachshund National Sydney, under UK judge Hazel Fielding, Petra came 2nd in the 12-18mths Sweepstakes from a class entry of 28!! 

Not content with that she went on to win her second Royal BOB at the Melbourne Royal 2003 and recently made it two in a row by winnig her second consecutive Sydney Royal BOB 2004!!! In 2005 she won Bitch Challenge and Reserve Best of Breed at Sydney Royal!!! Quite a feat! She was not exhibited at the 2006 Sydney Royal as she was pulled out of the ring for maternal duties. She then came back to the ring in September 2006 to win Bitch Challenge and Reserve Best of Breed at Melbourne & Perth Royals as well as at the 8th Dachshund National!!!

Petra completed her Australian Champion title with some lovely In Group wins and became the second ever Malaysian bred dog to win this title. Her sister was the first to win this accolade. Our thanks to Julie Ireland who campaigned Petra for a while whilst Mark & Justine were busy!
 

Petra produced a beautiful litter and two of her children are in the ring folowing in their mothers footsteps. Being the special girl that she is she produced a recessive longhair daughter in her litter too! Petra's son Jumarnic Smooth Operator was BEST PUPPY IN SHOW at Perth Royal 2006!!!!!!!!

Petra is by Nz & Mal Ch Tiermark Jazz out of Mal. Ch. Hacienda Bet On Black (IID Aust) who is a Nz & Aust Ch. Tiermark Stutz Bearcat daughter. Petra is a litter sister to Aust. Ch. Hacienda Ewe Reka & Philipine Gr. Champion Hacienda Enough of Ewe.
